Just had their pulled pork. It was good. Sauces are good too. The fries are awesome. Homemade. Try the fried pickles, delish. Will definitely go back.

Tried it three times now. Really like the people and want to support a local beachside business but can't go back again. The meat (no matter what kind - we've tried ham, turkey, brisket, pork, and ribs) is always dry. Tried the Mac and cheese and fries due to other reviews and neither were very good. The Mac and cheese was mushy and had little flavor. The BBQ sauces are good and the folks working there have always been great.

I loved the dry rub on the chicken! The meat was very moist and tender. Service was friendly and they went above and beyond to help me with my kids on several issues. My kids loved the macaroni and cheese and I loved the baked beans, but not vice versa. None of the problems mentioned in the low ratings. They have wooden picnic tables outside which worked great for my kids, since I feel bad when they leave a mess inside a place.

Best bbq in town. This place is owned by the owner of Sports Page right next door. There is outdoor seating only on picnic benches in the shade. The meats are always cooking be sure to ask if there is any meats not available yet. The Turkey, Briskett and pulled Pork was amazing. I haven't tried the chicken or ribs yet. You get a choice between 6 sauces. Give them 24 hours notice if you have a big catering event for them to get the food ready. You can buy their dry rubs at the register as well.

Awesome place. First time visit today....pulled pork sandwich, fries and drink for $7.25 at noon. 10 plus! Staff very friendly! I'll be back!

I don't like bbq. I don't like baked beans. All of this went out the window when I went there to appease my husband. The food was amazing, even the baked beans. The brisket was great and they have an amazing dinner deal (which I liked because I wanted the left overs for later too LOL). We went back again for the newly added lunch special and was happy to find they had added a free beer with lunch! Try the brisket, the fritters and the baked beans for sure. The fries were amazing too. I love the different choices of bbq sauce too.

Their pulled pork is the least fatty we've had anywhere. We went four times over the last couple of months and had takeout. The family dinner is a great value - is perfect for four people and is a good value. But it's been the fact that we got pork with no fat that really sold me. No more Sonny's, and I've been a fan of theirs for 30 years!

Update: We did go back three days after our initial visit because it was our last day staying in Satellite Beach and this ended up being our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, I had to downgrade our rating to four stars. The quality of the barbecue remained at the five star level, however, they were again out of chicken. In addition, they were out of cole slaw (which I don't recommend anyway) and mac & cheese (which I highly recommend) and I heard one woman say she had returned for dinner hoping they had pulled pork. The kicker is that we were there by 5:45 for dinner. They did have turkey this time so we tried that, it was tasty, but like all turkey it was dry. I can understand running out of food close to closing time, but it baffles me when a restaurant runs out before 6. This is definitely a problem that needs rectifying for future success. I still highly recommend eating here, but I suggest you call first to check on availability. P.S.: it looks like my initial review was replaced by this one. My first review bragged about their brisket, ribs, pulled pork, freshly cut and cooked fries, and excellent service and it included a five star rating. Duke's is really good barbecue and they smoke their own meats and make all their sides in-house. If you live in or are visiting the area, eating here is a must if you enjoy barbecue.

So very glad we decided to drop in. The single meat plate was fantastic and ALL of their BBQ sauces are delicious. The coleslaw was awesome. Great friendly staff were helpful and quick.

Unfortunately, I had to come back on here and take away a star. I came back here on a Monday night for dinner because so many places along A1A are closed on Mondays. They close at 8:00. I arrived at 6:15 only to find the neon sign declaring "Open," but a handwritten--scribbled note on the door that read, "Had to step out for a bit. Be back at 7:15. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks, the MNGMT." OK, I don't know what time they posted that note, but they were closed for the main dinner hour and were going to return for the last 45 minutes of their opening hours and then serve fresh BBQ after having been closed for how long?! And...they expected me to WAIT for an hour to eat dinner and for them to MAYBE come back...?! Me thinks not! Went down the road to the Cuban Island restaurant and had a great meal. I can find decent BBQ elsewhere WHEN I WANT IT!

I found this place through Yelp while I was out & about so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the lunch special (pork on Texas toast, BBQ beans) and a side of fried okra. The food was plenty and the price was right. It didn't impress me enough to make it to 4 stars but it was good enough that I would stop in if I'm in the area and give it a second try.

Very tasty pulled pork. North Georgia style. Nice portion of meat on the sandwich. True homemade French fries. Only thing I would change would be the fried pickles. I am not a fan of fried spears, prefer fried chips. I'll be back!

Today was the third time I've been there. I took a friend. Our orders included mash potatoes and after sitting around for 10 min manager came out and said they needed to make fresh mashed potatoes. Almost 35 min later we got our dishes and the mashed potatoes were so undercooked neither of us could eat it. We waited another 10 min for the manager to come back. They did refund us for the meal and gave us sandwiches at our request. The BarBQ is good but I'm not sure it's good enough to risk a long wait again. It would have been better if we'd been given the choice to change our order from the start.

This place is awesome! Cooked to order BBQ with their own sauces! The fried pickles are spears and extra crisp.

Great food! Loved all the sauces. Tried the one meat plate, had brisket with corn fritters & cole slaw..all very good. Friendly employees & terrific service. Just happened to stop here, but would definitely come back! Thanks :)

Not bad! We were strolling down A1A and smelled the savory barbecue long before we saw this quaint little bbq stop. They had reasonable lunch specials, and it was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy great barbecue. Homemade sauces were great and so was the service. A nice pit stop for lunch or dinner!

Really great ribs and good take out service. This place has a good amount of sauce options and is so close to beaches it is a perfect place to end as day. As a rub connoisseur I have to say I was really impressed. This joint had great priced ribs that were delicious. Pro tip: the fancier the restaurant and pricier the options, the crappier the ribs are gonna be.

Opened by a bar owner hoping to make some money selling simple food. They kept it simple, but forgot to make it good.

If you like dry-rubbed, Carolina styled BBQ, then this is a great place to get your fix. This restaurant has recently opened, but there were no "just opened" problems with the food or service. I had a large sandwich combo, which includes fries and a drink. On a large, you can get 2 different meat selections. I opted for the brisket and turkey on a roll (instead of the Texas Toast). The brisket was very flavorful, and the turkey was not too dry like some other places. The french fries are "skin-on", crispy, and are seasoned (not just salted) perfectly. Plenty of food for a $9.25 lunch. If I had to go back to work, I'd probably order the regular sandwich combo ($7.25) so I wouldn't fall into a food coma at the office. Since they had wings on the menu, I had to give them a try too, and they weren't too shabby. Seating for now is limited to 6 covered picnic tables, with each having 5-6 different BBQ sauces to try. My favorite was the Smokey and Carolina Tangy. You can also choose to eat your food next door at the counter at Sports Page, which is right next door. That's a bonus if you like a beer or other alcoholic drink with your meal. I'm eyeing the Carolina Gut Bomb for my next visit: fries smothered in BBQ sauce, topped with brisket, pork jalapenos and cheese...Mmmmm. I almost forgot, they offer a 10% discount for service members, firefighters, and law enforcement.

I took the family to Duke's yesterday for the first time. We had the 321 burger, turkey, brisket, and chicken, they were all very good. They all had good smokey flavor and were not dried out. They have several different types of sauces on the tables. The sides (corn fritters, baked beans, fried okra, slaw, fried pickles) were good. They were not dripping in grease like some places. The inside seating area is not much to look at but the food more than makes up for it.

This place is really great. Their pulled pork sandwiches are made even better by the many homemade sauces they have. Better yet, they offer a military discount and lunch special. Lots of sides to choose from...even fried pickles which were delicious. There was also a sign that beer and wine are coming soon!

Admittedly I am spoiled having just lived four plus years in Texas but even at that, I can only give Duke's an average rating. It wasn't bad but it wasn't knock your socks off good either. I had the 2+2+2 plate. The ribs were fall off the bone tender but didn't have a lot of flavor. The brisket was a bit dry for my liking and again, didn't have much flavor. The pork was the redeeming factor of this plate. So tender and fairly juicy. If I get a craving for BBQ again while I am here, I would go back and just get the pork. For side dishes, my plate came with he BBQ beans. Pretty decent flavor to them but I am not typically a bean eater so don't have much to compare them to. The corn fritters were again, average. I have had better, I have had worse. Duke's has several sauces to choose from and they come on the side so you can use as much or as little as you want. I am not typically a sauce person on my BBQ but tried a couple just for fun. The Sweet sauce (I think that is what it was called) was pretty tasty. Service was quick and efficient and take out is readily available if you just want to pick something up and take it home.

Great BBQ and sauces. Love the Tangy and Sweet. Favorites are: pulled pork sandwich, hamburger and wings. They have fresh cut fries and fried okra...Yum!!

Was in the mood for ribs so decided to give them a try. Was not impressed. Ribs were not very flavorful and somewhat underdone. My wife and kids got some other things on the menu that they liked but this is supposed to be a rib place. Who cares about appetizers? Service was great but we were the only people there so that's not saying much. Noise from the bar next door was kinda annoying but not really their fault.

Enjoyed the smell of Dukes from the street which is what led me here. Smoked pork was ok. Fries were the greasiest fries I have had since eating at a diner as a kid. Service was good. Place was pretty dirty looking in back, but usually that means good BBQ. Would try it again.
